Well Done

Well I worried about Katie's wiggliness for nothing.
(which is usually the way with worry)

Our homeschool group climbed to the very tip top of the Overture Center, found our comfy seats, and settled in for the two hour show.

Katie was quiet and still and seemed to be enjoying it.

And then it was over.

And I asked her, "What was your favorite part?"

"When it was over."

Perhaps she was worn out by using every bit of her self control to sit so nicely.
Or perhaps it went on a little long for one so young.
Or perhaps her tummy was distracting her.

All I know is that she was glad it was over!

But, she said she would still like to be in the Nutcracker.
Because..."They get the movements...and we just sit around, not talking"

Ha.

". . . for it is good to be children sometimes, and never better than at Christmas, when its mighty Founder was a child himself."

Encourage one another,
Donna
