I finally found Joey's Jive on youtube.

What is lovely never dies,
But passes into other loveliness,
Star-dust, or sea-foam, flower or winged air.

For the beauty of the earth
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies.
Refrain
Lord of all, to Thee we raise,
This our hymn of grateful praise.
~Pierpoint

As you can see,
we are in a woodsy part of Wisconsin.
Not the northwoods...
actually they call our area the unglaciated Driftless Area.

The glaciers kind of stopped right about here.
And so we have rolling hills.

And lots of trees.

I am so thankful
for the gift of an orange and blue sunset.

What a pretty sight.

And from where I sit.
It's pretty uncommon.

“Nobody of any real culture, for instance, ever talks nowadays about the beauty of sunset. Sunsets are quite old fashioned. To admire them is a distinct sign of provincialism of temperament. Upon the other hand they go on.”
~Oscar Wilde

Please, all of you smart folks, what does that last sentence mean?
Is Oscar saying...even tho it is provincial to gush about sunsets...folks still talk about them?

Including himself?

Ah. I think I get it now.

AM I on the right track?

Do you want to talk about American Idol?
Who knew it was hard to sing a Bon Jovi song?
And his piano player! He had some mad skills!
he he

Yeah. I'm cool.

What's for dinner tonight?
I'm in a rut.

Is there an easy/fool proof way to prepare fish?
We never eat fish.

I'm afraid it will be fishy.

Encourage one another,
Donna
