The Three Lauras

What's so funny?

The three lovely ladies in the picture are sisters. They have all won the Laura Ingalls Wilder contest in Pepin Wisconsin.

Nancy (their mom) and I thought it would be really cool to have picutres of the girls in a prairie setting.

We squeezed in a photo shoot last Wednesday afternoon between piano lessons and Awana.

It was chilly and the sun was gastly bright but I heard not one complaint.

Little House on the Prairie circa 2007

Aren't they adorable?
Doesn't that look like fun?

I haven't read the Little House books in a long time.

In fact, when Emma was in fourth grade we used the Prairie Primer for her school curriculum.

(The Prairie Primer is a year long unit study using the whole set of Little House books.)

We have never visited any of the Laura Ingalls Widler sites. But we just may tag along with Nancy and her girls next year.

I will have to sew a costume for Katie and read the books to her first tho.

The reading....that's not too hard. But sewing...yikes!

By the way, I braided Katie's hair before bedtime the other night and it worked like a charm.
Thank you!
