Fling off thy sadness

Awake, thou wintry earth-
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness

MizBoo, I watched the Bill Cunningham documentary!!! Oh my, I just LOVED it. He is amazing and I love his spirit so much. I just adore all his quirks and his zest for what he's doing. So inspirational. I'm home with a sick kid this week, so I also watched the Vivian Maier documentary -- which you also recommended a long time ago here on your blog. I got the book of images after reading about it here but seeing the documentary really opened it up to me in so many ways. What a fascinating story just laced with so much sadness....a complete and total contrast to the Bill Cunningham story -- interesting to have watched them both so close together. Thank you so much for the recommendation!!

  6. I absolutely love this photo. I absolutely despise the weather lately. It is beyond crazy. Snow, snow, go!
